SAAB 9-3 Steering rack shaft (HPS)

The steering rack helps the driver to guide the direction of the vehicle by connecting the steering wheel with the front wheels. Long-term use, aggressive driving, and poor-quality maintenance lead to the wear of the main component of the steering system.

The steering rack is one of the most important parts of the steering mechanism. Its replacement is necessary in the case of corrosion, tooth wear, or engagement during the operation of the steering unit in the vehicle.

Our online store offers new and refurbished steering racks from the brands "MSG" and "MSG rebuilding" (our own spare parts brands).

All racks are made from strong steel with heat treatment.

To buy a steering rack and replace it yourself, you first need to take measurements according to the TT scale from the "parent" part:

• inner and outer diameter;
• length;
• number of teeth.

Then it’s easy: visit the website, enter the obtained dimensions into the filter, and press the search button. You can also select the product brand, technical drawing type, car brand, model, and modification.

The price for each steering rack is formed individually according to the specified parameters. The more complex and prestigious the car, the more expensive the replacement is in a service. In the store, the price is both wholesale and retail.
