Polecam tę ekipę. Miałem tzw " trudny przypadek" z VW ID5 (losowo występująca upływność prądu podczas ładowania skutkująca odłączaniem ładowarki), którego ASO nie chciało się podjąć. Panowie z STS spędzili nad tym dwa dni, ale znaleźli i usunęli przyczynę bez konieczności wymiany połowy samochodu itd. Naprawdę miałem poczucie, że zależy im na rozwiązaniu problemu a nie na "skasowaniu klienta". Dodatkowo miła, kulturalna i profesjonalna obsługa. Polecam z pełną odpowiedzialnością.

Borykałem się z uciążliwym problemem w swoim fordzie mondeo Mk5 diesel. Występował błąd czujnika temperatury, który po usuwaniu u innego specjalisty po dwóch dniach wracał z powrotem, było wymienionych kilka rzeczy, niestety cały czas to samo. Dodatkowo (jak się później dowiedziałem w salonie Sts, powodowany był przez to) błąd filtra Dpf, który przerzucał samochód na system awaryjny. Mimo dwukrotnego wypalania błąd wracał. Zgłosiłem się do salonu Sts parts z następującymi problemami. Najpierw został umyty filtr DPF oraz usunęli błąd czujnika. Niestety problemy powróciły. Wróciłem do Sts parts, szybko została podjęta diagnostyka, błąd czujnika został zlokalizowany po mozolnych i długich poszukiwaniach, okazało się że jeden ząbek z około 100 na kostce był wepchnięty do środka. Po wielu miesiącach prób i błędów, problem został zlokalizowany. Dodatkowo wykonałem stage silnika w cenie promocyjnej. Samochód chodzi lepiej niż kiedykolwiek a ja myślałem, że błędu czujnika temperatury a następnie filtra Dpf nie pozbędę się nigdy…. Dzięki jeszcze raz za pomoc i nie poddawanie się. Pozdrowienia Panowie.

Tesla umarła pod domem, jednak chłopaki pomogli mi zarówno z ogarnięciem w dobrej cenie lawet jak i naprawa baterii. Dzięki nim nie musiałem wymienić całej baterii tylko doprowadzili ją do ładu w dużo niższych pieniądzach. Auto jeździ już 2miesiace, zrobiło 5 tys km i wszystko śmiga aż miło. Gorąco polecam i będę tam jechał z każdym EV!!!

Fachowa obsługa i super robota. Już dwa razy wstawiłam tam swojego forda i jestem zadowolona. Wcześniejsi mechanicy nie mogli dojść do pewnych rzeczy, a tutaj bez problemów dostałam diagnozę i to jeszcze w błyskawicznym tempie. Zawsze szczegółowo wypisane co był robione oraz koszt części i robocizny osobno. Mogę liczyć na objaśnienie problemów przy odbiorze auta, a nawet jazdę testową, a nie tylko kluczyki w rękę i "tyle proszę zapłacić". Mam kawałek do tego warsztatu, ale warto, naprawdę. Polecam!

Software Deactivation of AdBlue System

Car manufacturers are constantly inventing and implementing devices and schemes that reduce the toxicity of their engine emissions. One such technology is AdBlue, designed to reduce the level of nitrogen oxides in exhaust gases. Unfortunately, this system doesn't always work correctly and adequately, and sometimes it frankly becomes the cause of problems. That's when the service of AdBlue removal in Warsaw, provided by STS company, becomes relevant for drivers.

What is AdBlue

AdBlue is the name of one of the most common brands of reagent fluid. The correct name for this system is SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction). Its purpose is to significantly reduce nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions in diesel engine exhaust gases by up to 90%. Initially, it was installed on heavy-duty vehicles, but with the introduction of Euro V and VI environmental standards, it began to be implemented on small commercial and even passenger cars.

The principle of SCR operation:

  1. The reducing agent (AdBlue or analogues) is injected into the exhaust gas flow through a catalyst device installed in the exhaust system.
  2. A chemical reaction occurs that converts nitrogen oxides into natural components of air: nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and water.

The nitrogen oxide reducer consists of 67.5% deionized water and 32.5% highly purified urea. Besides the AdBlue trademark, which has become generic, registered by the German Association of the Automotive Industry (VDA), a similar fluid may be called AUS 32 (Aqueous Urea Solution) or DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid).

Most often in modern cars, SCR is installed along with exhaust gas recirculation systems (EGR) and diesel particulate filter (DPF). These environmental helpers have also earned many fair complaints for unstable and incorrect operation. Therefore, for the owner of a car equipped with AdBlue in Warsaw, it would be logical to combine its deactivation with the removal of the EGR valve and a quality cleaning of the particulate filter at STS company.

Symptoms of AdBlue Problems

Despite the good engineering concept, in practice, the operation of the SCR system is associated with great difficulties. Its sensors, pump, and nozzles that spray AdBlue often fail. The fluid has the property of freezing (crystallizing) at low temperatures, and after prolonged storage in the cold, it often loses its properties. The urea solution needs to be refilled in a separate filler neck, and it's not available at all gas stations.

Signs of AdBlue system malfunction:

  • Appearance of Check Engine errors on the dashboard;
  • Message requiring to add AdBlue, despite its presence;
  • Messages with a countdown of kilometers to forced vehicle stop;
  • Computer speed limitation;
  • Noticeable decrease in engine power.

In some cases, problems are solved by adding fluid or defrosting the system, but if the malfunction is more serious, the car may lose the ability to move on its own even to the place of AdBlue repair in Warsaw.

When to Deactivate the System

As we can see, when there are problems with the AdBlue system, the car's ECU significantly limits the vehicle's operation – even to the point of complete impossibility of use. Troubleshooting is expensive, as it is mainly carried out in dealerships. At the same time, there is no guarantee that they will not appear again. In addition, the SCR system itself also involves additional costs. This includes the constant purchase of AdBlue fluid and increased fuel consumption.

How the Software Deactivation Process Takes Place at STS Parts

For ECU reflashing, we use equipment from the best companies in the chip tuning industry and our own developed software. The procedure is divided into several stages:

  1. Diagnostics of the SCR system for malfunction.
  2. Creating a backup copy of the stock firmware.
  3. Software correction.
  4. Uploading a new edited version of the firmware to the ECU.
  5. Checking the operation of the car's systems.

At the same time, we physically remove the AdBlue catalyst from the exhaust system. Thus, the exhaust gases freely exit without encountering resistance, the system stops giving errors, and the engine gets full power.

Advantages of AdBlue Deactivation at STS Parts Warsaw

Before telling you about the advantages of working with us, let's consider other ways to deactivate the system:

  • Using an emulator. An inexpensive device is connected to the CAN bus to disable the supply of urea to the exhaust system. Although the advertising for these devices guarantees successful operation even in the presence of errors in the system, in reality, the emulator very poorly imitates the operation of sensors. Usually, the device needs to be installed in places where it is poorly protected from moisture and dirt (frame, bottom of the body), and therefore will not work for long.
  • Self-flashing of the ECU to lower standards using software from the internet. This is associated with great risks: firstly, such programs usually have an unknown origin, and secondly, their installation requires high programmer qualifications. Otherwise, reflashing can seriously harm the car and its owner.

Therefore, it's better and safer to turn to where qualified specialists work, who have experience and special equipment – to STS Parts. The procedure for deactivating the AdBlue system in Warsaw takes no more than 2-3 hours, including diagnostics of the car before and after the procedure.
